Training Tip: How to Delete a File from Storage

Question: I have uploaded a document into my Storage Area and now want it deleted as it no longer needs to be included within my final bundle. How can this be done?

Answer: Bundledocs users can use the ‘Storage Area’ to hold files that are relevant to a case. These files may or may not be included within their final bundle.

Deleting a document is simple. Simple select the ‘Edit Details’ icon, located next to the file name. A window will then appear. Click the red ‘Delete’ button to permanently delete the file from your account.

Training Tip: Drag & Drop Files

For Bundledocs users, creating bundles has never been easier. Our software enables them the flexibility they need to create the perfect bundle.

When creating your bundle, the ‘Drag & Drop’ function can be used in a number of ways. Firstly, it is used to easily move files from the ‘Storage Area’ (where case documents are stored) into your bundle. Secondly, it is used to arrange and re-arrange files within your bundle.

How do I drag and drop files?

1. Click & hold file with your mouse pointer

2. Move the mouse to the area you want to move the file. 

3. Release the mouse pointer in this area, to insert the file.

Mr Ryan McClead writer for the ‘3 Geeks and a Law Blog’ recently released an article entitled “The Inevitable Cloud” which provides an insight into the perceptions of cloud computing technologies in law firms today.
